Tugasan di Vientiane, Republik Demokratik Rakyat Lao pagi ini bermula dengan menghadiri Majlis Pembukaan Sidang Kemuncak ASEAN Ke-44 dan Ke-45 bersama delegasi Malaysia.
Saya dan ketua-ketua negara anggota ASEAN lain disambut Perdana Menteri Lao PDR, Sonexay Siphandone, sebelum memulakan mesyuarat rasmi pertama pimpinan ASEAN di bawah Kepengerusian Lao PDR.

This morning’s engagements in Vientiane, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, commenced with the Opening Ceremony of the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits.
Together with fellow ASEAN leaders, we were warmly received by Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone of Lao PDR before proceeding to the first official leadership meeting under Lao PDR’s Chairmanship.
