Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim spoke with CNA's Melissa Goh and Afifah Ariffin on his policy framework and government slogan, Malaysia Madani or "Civil Malaysia", which was introduced by his administration after assuming power in November.
In this interview on the sidelines of the Milken Institute Asia Summit 2023, Mr Anwar also discusses Malaysia’s challenging political landscape and its fight against corruption. On the international front, Mr Anwar touches on how the ASEAN bloc is managing its relations with China and the United States.
