Tony Pua: Khalid's position as MB to be decided by top leadership
PETALING JAYA - Any decision to remove Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as
Selangor Mentri Besar should be made by the top leadership of Pakatan
Rakyat (PR).
DAP's Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua confirmed that there has been no official discussion between the coalition's top leadership to address this issue.
"We will wait for the decision and action by Pakatan Rakyat's top leadership," he said.
"The position of mentri besar was decided by three parties (PKR, PAS & DAP), and it is not a simple matter to remove or not to remove Khalid because it is only fair that he is given every opportunity to deliver PR's promises to the people of Selangor," he told reporters here yesterday.
He hoped that several issues affecting the state can be resolved positively in the interest of the people of Selangor.

"If we fail to deliver our promises, not only is the position of MB at stake, but the government of Pakatan Rakyat is at stake too."
Pua was commenting on the statement by state PKR information chief Shuhaimi Safiei that the decision for Khalid to resign from his position had been made at the party's supreme council meeting on January. -Sundaily
